Swedish Language Program ages 8-12 Saturdays 2023-2024 (SF)

Day/time: Saturdays 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm

Location: 511 Laguna Honda Blvd, San Francisco, CA. 94127

Dates: August 19, 2023 - June 8, 2024  

Fall semester 8/19/23-12/9/23. Spring semester 1/6/24-6/8/24.

Lucia celebration Sunday December 10.

Diploma ceremony and graduation party Sunday June 9.

No class on 11/25/23, 12/2/23, 2/24/24, and DBT for Viking Run.

Cost: 

- $610 for the school year 2023-2024. This is the fee for children who have at least one parent with Swedish citizenship. We receive a stipend from the Swedish government agency Skolverket and this is their requirement for awarding the stipend.

- $995 for the school year 2023-2024. This is the fee for children 8-12 years old who do not have at least one parent with Swedish citizenship.

Swedish teacher: Monika Stahler

Class description: This course is for students who want to take their Swedish writing, speaking, and comprehension skills to the next level. We are working according to the plan of Skolverket and besides the language skills, we will also develop a better understanding of Swedish geography, history, culture, as well as the traditions such as Lucia, Easter, Midsummer, and Fettisdagen. It is necessary that students understand and speak Swedish upon enrollment. Students should bring a snack to class.

Please complete the Parent agreement form (one form per student) and send it to Monika at mstahler@scandinavianschool.org

Students cannot attend classes before the form is completed and signed. If your child is a current returning student there is no need to fill out the form, unless there has been a change of address or other important changes.

If a parent is late to pick up a child, a late fee will be applied, starting on the first late minute.

No refunds, all sales are final.
